Quick Presets

ℹ️ Presets use Eurocode 2 concrete grades. Input is fck (cylinder), e.g. C30/37 → fck = 30 MPa. Internally: fcm = fck + 8 MPa.

Custom Parameters

⚠️ fck must be between 10–100 MPa

⚠️ Values outside 20–80 MPa range may have reduced accuracy

Typical fck range: 20–80 MPa (e.g. C30/37 → 30 MPa)

⚠️ Aggregate size must be between 4–40 mm

⚠️ Common sizes: 8, 16, 20, 25, 32 mm

Standard sizes: 8, 16, 20, 25, 32 mm (default: 16 mm)

About CSCM Material Model

The Continuous Surface Cap Model (CSCM) in LS-DYNA is used to simulate concrete and rock materials under complex stress states. This tool uses Eurocode 2-based relationships: you provide fck and dmax, and it automatically generates a *MAT_CSCM_TITLE card with consistent G, K, fracture energy and rate parameters.
